Finally, the new Technics SL-1200G is now in sale in Germany & Austria!

It’s not announced yet when the new Technics will become available in other countries.

Pricetag: 3.499,00 € /  $4,000

Unfortunately this is exactly the same amount as the SL-1200 GAE limited version.

Price tag research:

I made a call to this shop in Germany, a very friendly seller told me 3.499 euros is indeed the price tag of both editions: The Golden (SL-1200GAE) & regular one (SL-1200G)! You can already order your Technics, even if you don’t live in Germany, they are in stock.

It seems strange to me if the price of the regular, not golden, edition is set this high. Therefore I contacted Technics by mail. I will keep you posted. Maybe it is wishful thinking, let’s hope not.

Also nice to know: The limited golden edition turntable’s first batch was sold out within 30 minutes.
